Newcastle brown ale is imported from England. And as most things that are from England and are edible it is bland bland bland. For a brown ale this beer is a one show pony. It reminds me of a hot Summer day when I am drinking a cola and it is almost gone, and the ice has melted and watered down the taste and you can even taste the styrofoam, yuck!
The appearance of the beer even looks watered down. It is a translucent brown and does not have much of a head.
I would rank it 1 out of 5 burps. Blah.

Did your Mother not teach you any manner’s???
Newkie Brown Ale is the #7 import in the USA right now out selling the likes of Becks, Amstel and Guinness.
It is so Smooth that is the point.
You should stick to Bud Ice for your cheap buzz.
As I mentioned in my other post about what is the most popular American beers, the top 5 are all crap. Just because a crappy English beer is #7 on the import list just reaffirms my belief that most Americans lack a degree in Beerology. I would not be surprised if many people think this beer makes them look sophisticated and worldly, just as I am sure that leg warmers, sun dresses, and baggy pants, all made it to the top of the fashion world thanks to herds of mindless fashion goblins following ridiculous trends. You’ll notice Corona is quite popular again because of some palm trees and sand. Yet, Corona has to be one of the worst beers out of Mexico. I won’t even bother reviewing it because I think so lowly of it. The beauty of beer is that taste is subjective, what one person detest, another considers a delicacy. Of course since this is my blog I must be right.
I’m no fan of Newcastle Brown (if it wasn’t for the branding, even people in Newcastle wouldn’t drink it), but I think your review is ignorant.
England is responsible for many culinary crimes (Full English Breakfast in a can anyone?), but to infer that Newcastle Brown (and it is your only English beer I can find on your page) is representative of English beer is ridiculous.
Have you ever heard of Burton on Trent? Ever wondered where IPA originated? Ever been curious to find out how and where Barley Wines came about…porter? mild?
Let me know the answer when you’ve finished your next glass of Fosters
