Bohemia beer is brewed in Mexico and has been around for over a hundred years. You can’t miss the unusual bottle in the stores. It is a fat, short brown bottle and has a long neck. The label is gold and the beer is clearly associating itself with some sort of Aztec heritage ( which is a ridiculous assertion), but I digress. The beer itself is a Pilsner and has a nice rich flavor to it with a suitable amount of carbonization. It is rich in hops and corn giving it a unique flavor among the Mexican beer family and a sweetness with the aftertaste. While it is no Negro Modelo it is a delight to drink and is one of my favorite alternates if Modelo is not available.
3 out of 5 burps.
